Loving God, Loving Each Other, Loving the World

Coffee on the Grounds!

Coffee On The Grounds!

What:       Bible study.  We want to understand Who Jesus is.

Where:    Douthat's Feed office — 6160 McDonald Rd

When:      Sunday morning at 10:00 A.M. (for about 30 minutes)

Cost:         Nothing!  We will provide everything (including the coffee)!

Who:        Anyone (ALL ages welcome!) Again, come as you are!

So many questions, so few answers!

  • What is the meaning of life?
  • What happens when I die?
  • Is this life all there is?
  • How do I know which religion (if any) is right?

Those are very important questions.  While we don't have all of the answers, we are a group of people who want to understand who we are, and our purpose in history.

This is not your typical Bible study!  Yes, we speak the same version of English you do (you don't have to learn a new language to study the Bible with us)!

Did we mention coffee?  Oh, yes!  We have partnered with Kingdom Growers to provide a cup of coffee unlike ANY cup of coffee you will find anywhere in East Tennessee!

What flavor will we feature this week?!  Join us to find out!

We will feature a different blend of coffee every week

(We may even offer different flavors of tea!).

Ok, we get it . . . what is our "angle?"  Honestly, there isn't one!  We just want to tell you about Who Jesus is, and what He wants to do in your life.  If you connect with that (and, obviously, that is our goal), awesome! If not, we respect your decision.  We just want to get to know you and learn the important questions in your life!  The Bible tells us that we can learn a LOT from one another!  We want you to learn what we have discovered, and WE want to learn what YOU have discovered!

Honestly, we don't want your money (no offering will be taken at Coffee on the Grounds).  We just want to tell you the amazing truth we have found about a man named Jesus.  We are so amazed with Him, that we just cannot keep ourselves from telling you about Him.

Fair enough?  That is our entire agenda!

We just want to tell you about Him.  That is our goal.  We just want you to know Him.  If that happens, awesome!  If not, we respect your decision. We will never pressure you to say, or do, something you are not comfortable saying or doing.

Ok!  Bottom line:  we just want you to have an amazing cup of coffee and hear a short Word from God.

We would love to see you at COTG (Coffee on the Grounds!)

If you need to know more, please contact Larry at (or find us on Twitter at!  Honestly, he would love to connect you, and your family, with what he (unfortunately) had to learn the hard way . . . please, ask him!!

Thanks for stopping by today!  We hope to see YOU at Coffee on the Grounds!
